Reflecting on the 14th European Conference on Gambling Studies and Policy Issues – Rome 2024
A Perfect Blend of Knowledge, Networking, and History

The 14th European Conference on Gambling Studies and Policy Issues took place in the magnificent city of Rome, Italy, bringing together more than 300 participants from across the world. Researchers, policymakers, regulators, and industry experts gathered in the heart of the Eternal City to exchange insights, debate new ideas, and strengthen international collaboration.

A Conference Steeped in History and Innovation

With sessions held just steps away from ancient landmarks and surrounded by centuries of history, the 2024 conference offered a truly unique atmosphere. The combination of inspiring presentations and the timeless setting of Rome created the perfect environment for learning and dialogue.

Over the course of three days, participants enjoyed a wide range of high-quality presentations and discussions, highlighting the latest developments in gambling research, responsible gambling practices, regulation, and technology. Evening dinners in the historic centre of Rome added a warm and memorable touch, offering participants the chance to continue their conversations in an unforgettable setting.
